READ BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCTProduct is 2:1 Resin to Hardener Mix Ratio. You will receive 2 parts resin to 1 part hardener. Each kit makes the total amount of product listed once mixed together.Covers 26ft2 @ 60mils or 1/16 inch. GENERALSC110 is a marine grade, 100% solids epoxy with UV protection additives that offer long term non-yellowing protection with non-blushing and non-chalking properties. SC110 adheres to wood, fiberglass, metal, stainless steel, concrete, stone, canvas, glass and virtually anysurface with 13,500 psi strength. SC110 preserves the substrate with an ultra-clear, scratch resistant finish while remaining flexible enough to withstand vibration and expansion/contraction. SC110 is a specially formulated 2-component epoxy with a modified cycloaliphaticamine curative. SC110 combines a UV absorber coupled with a hindered amine light stabilizer which inhibits degradation of the epoxy from sunlight and protects the exterior with a glossy, glass-like finish that will endure heavy traffic and extreme conditions. SC110 bondschemically and mechanically to the substrate and can be blended with dyes, silica, sands, wood flowers, pebbles and other materials. SC110 forms a polished, highly durable, wear resistant surface and is unaffected by saltwater, fuel, oil, and mild acids while exhibiting long term corrosion proof and chemical resistance protection. SC110 is used for boat building, fiberglass fabricating, wood working, bar top finishing and many other applications.COMPONENTS SC110 is composed of a resin and hardener supplied in a 1, 3, 6, 12 or 15 gallon kits.SC110 resin is a 100% solids no VOC, 2-component, self-leveling, primerless, low odor, non-blushing epoxy that provides a sufficient work life, rapid track free time and high adhesion to aggregates and pavements. Each kit includes both pre-proportioned resin (part A) andhardener (part B) which are mixed at 2 parts resin to 1 part hardener by volume. To use, the part B is added to the part A and then mixed immediately prior to use. VOC = 0 g/l. Perfect for tabletops, fiberglass work, small castings (under 1″), electrical potting, jewelry making, concrete – pebble coating, marine applications- boat building, river tables, coating artwork, and creating tumblers. Are you making a river table? Please contact us. Typical Properties: Cure Speed This product provides fast cure. Typical pot-life on this item is roughly 30-50 minutes based on mass and temperature. Thin film set time (3mil. film) is roughly 3 – 5 hours at 78F. Making river tables or large castings? You can go as deep as you like. Just make sure to work in stages. Please stay under 12″ per pour. Wait 3-4 hours before your second pour. This product cures to a brilliant high gloss finish. The finished product will be very rigid, smooth, clear, and display a brilliant high gloss finish similar to glass. Excellent for tumblers, art, wood coating (tabletops) and any application requiring high grade American made resin Mixing, Storage, and ApplicationMix this resin 1:1 by volume. If mixing by weight, mix 100 parts of resin into 83 parts of hardener. When mixing this product, make sure to use a round cup & mix thoroughly scraping all sides and bottom of mixing container. Improperly mixed epoxy can create a major headache. Remember that thermoset plastics are temperature sensitive. Cold weather slows the cure process down, whereas heat speeds curing up. Always try to mix chemicals at room temperature. For best results, try pouring epoxy into hardener. Pour along the side of the container to help alleviate air entrapment. Mix for at least 3-5 minutes in a in a round motion until chemical are clear and free of striations. Small castings and potting units may take longer to cure than larger items. For large pours of 1″, mix and pour right away! The mix will get too hot if you let stand in the mixing containers too long This chemical needs to be stored in a dry, safe, temperature controlled environment. Always keep the lids tightly sealed when not in use. Remember, oxygen and moisture oxidize and can rapidly degrade the epoxy and hardener. Moisture is also a potential issue. Always keep the bottles sealed when not in use. When applying this product, use gloves, goggles, and proper safety equipment.
