Farm Plastic Supply - HYDRAFLEX™ 40 mil Black Polyethylene Plastic Sheeting Our 40 Mil Black Plastic Sheeting is designed for durability and strength this and is tough while still remaining flexible. It is constructed of HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) and is a Economical Geomembrane that is manufactured in the USA. Our HDPE can withstand both hot and freezing temperatures and has a built-in UV inhibitor to provide resistance to breakdown of the plastic while being exposed to sunlight. When placed beneath the ground this material has an estimated lifespan of 100 years. HDPE sheeting can be used in a wide variety of different applications ranging from industrial to landscape uses.
